Abstract

Why do we keep on delivering products and services that don’t or only partially meet customer needs? Hint – it’s not necessarily something we do wrong during the project, it starts long before that!

Amongst the 17 books he authored or co-authored over two decades were VeriSM™ Unwrapped and applied, the EXIN Scrum Master & Product Manager handbook, Competing in a digital future, the COBIT 5 (Framework and Process books) and an ISACA best-seller ‘COBIT for Service Managers.’

Johann was involved in dozens of successful organizational change initiatives and technical and business transformation projects across industries and four continents, spreading almost four decades.

He received global recognition for his work in Digital Transformation, Agile, Entrepreneurship, Customer Experience Management, DevOps, Leadership, and Business Management & Strategy from institutions like the HDI and Thinkers360. He also received a Lifetime Achievement award from the itSMF for his contribution to the Service Management profession and body of knowledge.

Johann is the founder of getITright® internationally and CEO of getITright Netherlands, the Architect of Agile-ADapT, the Chief Examiner for the EXIN Agile and Digital Transformation portfolio, and a lecturer at Nelson Mandela University in their MPhil IT Governance degree program.
